Role based security is different from object based security. An access right is a right granted to a user of an object. A privilege is a right granted to user on a class of objects. Access right applies only after privileges have taken effect. Policies and roles makes it easy to grant privileges. Role based security uses authentication and authorization mechanism of the application server.

Find performs a search on an attribute for which it is defined. Advanced Find performs search on the conditions and the attributes that user may choose one or more.

CRM discovery service is used for ORG related activities while CRM metadata service is used for CRM record activities.
